Pricing
How chauffeur pricing works: a transparent guide
Route, time, vehicle, operating conditions and supplier availability—what a reliable quote needs to explain.
A useful chauffeur quote should answer two questions: what is included, and what could cause the total to change? A low headline number is not transparent if tolls, waiting, parking or an unsuitable vehicle appear later.
The new MOBEX pricing approach
Point-to-point and airport journeys are prepared from the selected locations, requested departure time and the Google route available at the time of quotation. We no longer treat a province-to-province table as the default source of truth.
For chauffeur-by-the-hour and golf services, Operations also considers the expected operating window, route geography, driver requirements and confirmed supplier or fleet availability.
The main quote inputs
- Route distance and traffic-aware travel time
- Service date, pickup time and operating window
- Passenger, luggage and equipment capacity
- MOBEX-owned fleet cost or a confirmed supplier cost
- Tolls, parking, waiting and overnight requirements
- Applicable tax, service fee and commercial margin rules
What the customer should see
The customer offer shows the payable total, currency, inclusions, material exclusions and quote expiry. Internal supplier cost and margin controls remain private, but the customer should never need to guess whether a known operating item has been considered.
Why a request is not yet a paid booking
Submitting a journey creates a request. MOBEX verifies the route, capacity, fleet or supplier availability and final terms before asking for payment. If the route, time, vehicle or service scope changes materially, the quote must be recalculated.
Transparent pricing is not about promising that every trip has one simple formula. It is about explaining the confirmed total before the customer commits.
